A fresh graduate of the Mohawk College Advertising program, Stef moved to Toronto in 2006 and started working on adidas and the Nissan retail business at TBWA Toronto. Enjoying the automotive sector Stef shifted to the Toyota National Brand team at Saatchi & Saatchi and spent the next three years managing full IMC’s for Toyota Canada. Very quickly Stef transitioned into integrated production.
Stef then moved into a digital pure play on Gillette global at Proximity Canada and produced thousands of assets for the US & western Europe regions for the ProGlide launch for the London 2012 Olympics. During his time there, he became Proximity Canada’s first Integrated Producer shooting live-action for digital all across the world.
Joining Tribal Worldwide as a producer in 2011, his work there earned him two promotions including his appointment as Associate Director of Production in August 2015. Stef spent five years at Tribal where he made invaluable contributions to the “Dadhood” campaign for Cheerios and “Our Food. Your Questions” for McDonald’s—both of which were recognized at the One Show and in Cannes.
In 2016 Stef took on the Director of Integrated Production role at FCB Canada building a large in-house production offering, consisting of the integration and rebuild of Fuel Content, development of new production content teams and adding motion design, offline and online finishing and an in-house film director. In 2021 over half of all international award-winning work (in the North American region) was produced in-house. Together with the team at FCB, Stef lead his production team to multiple international awards for Canadian Down Syndrome Society (CDSS), Air Canada, Fountain Tire and many others making FCB the most awarded agency in Canada for Cannes 3 years in a row. During his 5 year stint at FCB the team was awarded a monumental achievement of 5 x Digital Agency of the Year from Strategy.
In 2022 Stef then ventured to a social content production company called Notch in the Publicis Groupe. He led integration for creating and shooting social campaigns for North Strategic, MSL Group, Leo Burnett and Publicis Toronto.
In 2023 Stef has moved to McCann Canada and will be leading the production team and partnering with Josh Stein CCO (again) to help elevate the creative production and push towards award dominance.
Stef’s contributions to notable and award-winning work are a testament to his attention to detail, his passion for advertising across all new media and his ability to lead a team that produces world class work with world class results.
